A new feature has been activated on the Digital Postbox Platform: Welcome Letter. Before, you would have to get in touch with e-Boks in order to set up or change your Organisation's Welcome Letter, but now you have the possibility to update it whenever you want.
What is a "Welcome Letter"?
The "Welcome Letter" is the first letter a new end-user will receive, once they sign up for the User Portal. It is intended to give the end-user a brief introduction to the Organisation, their new Digital Postbox, and what else you as the Administrator would like them to know.
How can you activate "Welcome Letter"?
First, your Admin Portal users will need the Permission "Manage Welcome Letter". This can be edited per user on your Admin Portal.
Then, they need to go to the section Administration > Welcome Letter. Here they will see the setup screen for the Welcome Letter:
Here you must choose a file, add a sender-icon, choose a sender name to display, and a subject name to display.
Once all of these have been filled out, the next time a new end-user signs up to your User Portal, they will receive this document in their Digital Postbox!
Tips and tricks
The Welcome Letter cannot be language specific. If you have end-users who speak multiple languages, we instead suggest that you add several language variations to the document itself, so all of your end-users will have the chance to read and understand the Welcome Letter.
